The Fort St. John Chamber of Commerce will be holding another ‘Business after Hours’ event.

On Wednesday May 4, the Chamber will be holding the meeting at Patch Java Coffee House beginning at 5:30 p.m.

The Chamber will welcome guest speaker Tom MacDonald, the executive director of the Local Government Management Association.

MacDonald will be discussing the top 10 issues facing B.C. local governments in 2011, as well as the role of local government administrators.

One such issue that Macdonald will discuss is the use of social media and the effects it has on local governments.
