Grande Prairie RCMP have arrested three men and are searching for a fourth after a murder in November.
The RCMP have arrested and charged 24 year-old Christopher Allen Ost, of Grande Prairie with first degree murder and  21 year-old  Darcy Julien Wanihandi, of Horse Lake with second degree murder.
A 27 year-old Wabasca man is also facing a charge of second degree murder in relation to the investigation.
Ost and Wanihandi have been remanded in custody and will make their first court appearance in Grande Prairie Provincial Court on Wednesday April 27.
A warrant has been issued for the arrest of 27 year-old Norman Chase Smith of Grande Prairie.  Smith is wanted for second degree murder in relation to the death of Brian MacFarlane’s.
Anyone having information on Smith’s whereabouts is asked to call the RCMP Grande Prairie at (780)830-5700 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477. The public is advised not to approach Smith as he may be armed and dangerous.

On November 11, 2010,  Brian MacFarlane, 37 years of age was attacked and stabbed at a home in Grande Prairie and later succumbed to his injuries.

The 5 month investigation has utilized resources from Grande Prairie RCMPÂ Detachment with the assistance of Peace River Major Crime Unit, Edmonton Major Crime Unit and K Division Serious Crime Branch.

The investigation is continuing and other persons of interest are being sought for information.Â
