Pee Wees to play for provincial gold

Wednesday night, the Fort St. John Pee Wee hockey team will be competing in the provincial finals.

The Pee Wee team will compete against the Burnaby WC, who were the favorites going into the tournament, for a chance to win a provincial championship. The game will take place at 8 p.m.

The final game will be a rematch between the two clubs, who played their final round robin game against one another, resulting in a three all tie. Neither team has lost a game so far in the tournament.

On their journey to the finals, Fort St. John opened the tournament with a 13-2 win over Alergrove and then beat Rossland/Trail 8-3. Those wins were followed up with a 9-3 victory over Salmon Arm and the tie against Burnaby WC.

Wednesday morning, Fort St. John beat Campbell River 4-1 in the semi finals, which secured their opportunity for a provincial championship.
