This weekend, the Fort Bowling Lanes in Fort St. John will be holding the first Peace Glass Singles Cash Tournament.
The bowling tournament will take place on Saturday March 26 and Sunday March 27. An entry fee of $150.00 is in place, with over $5000.00 available in prize money.
Regarding the tournament format, Saturday will have a ten game qualifier, which will take place at 5 p.m., with eight of the ten teams qualifying for Sunday. The eight teams that qualify for Sunday are guaranteed a prize of $200.
Sunday will consist of a bracket style playoff involving three game matches. The matchups are as follows: 1 vs. 8, 2 vs. 7, 3 vs. 6 and 4 vs. 5. Players will be re-seeded after the first round of the finals is completed.
If the tournament gets 24 entries, first place is guaranteed $2,000 in prize money and a free travel voucher will be awarded to anyone who bowls a perfect game.

Along with bowling, the tournament will offer other fun filled activities such as doubles pots, Calcutta and 50/50 draws.
If interested in registering but live out of town, the Pomeroy Hotel will be offering special room rates for participants of $119.00 a night.
