UPDATEÂ #3 Power is now restored to all areas of the city.
PDATEÂ #2 Power has been restored to the three original outage areas and BCÂ Hydro reports that power should be restored to all areas by 11:30 a.m.Â
UPDATE A fourth outage in the City has been reported in the area north of 100 Ave., East of 110 St., West of 106 St. and South of 101 Ave. The cause of this outage was reportedly from a bird contacting BC Hydro’s wires. Power is expected to be restored to this area by 1 p.m.
A power outage is affecting Fort St. John residents in the areas around North Peace Secondary School and the Totem Mall.

The outage occurred at around 9:44 a.m. and is in the areas around 100 St. and 95 Ave. and 96 St. and 93 Ave., as well as West of 90 Ave., East of Beaver Rd., South of 102 Ave. and North of 79 Ave.
More than 1,900 customers are currently affected by the outage.
BC Hydro is reporting that the cause of the outage is currently under investigation and that power should be restored by 12:30 p.m.
