Support Fort St John News

The City of Fort St. John is receiving a defibrillator as part of the 2010 Vancouver Winter Games legacy.

The city was chosen as one of 200 organizations across Canada to receive a defibrillator.

The City says it will be set up in the Pomeroy Sport Centre later this year. It also says that the Community Services Department will provide free training for the defibrillator to community volunteers, sports groups and the public.

The LIFEPAK CR Plus defibrillators are being distributed to the various organizations as part of the manufacturer’s partnership with the Vancouver Organizing Committee (VANOC).
