Two males and one female have been arrested for trafficking in the Jackfish Lake area.

The Chetwynd RCMP, along with the North District Emergency Response Team, executed a search warrant on a local residence in the Jackfish Lake area in relation to a drug trafficking investigation.

As a result, two males and one female were arrested for possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.

The RCMP were able to seize approximately two pounds of marijuana and firearms from the property.
The suspects were arrested and are scheduled to appear in Chetwynd provincial court on May 11.

The Chetwynd RCMP are still investigating the matter.
