Several sketches have recently popped up on the side of buildings around Fort St. John and at least one is of an unlikely subject.
Mayor Bruce Lantz has been the subject of one such sketch, painted on the side of the Whole Wheat and Honey cafe on 100 St.
Lantz says he had no idea the portrait was being painted, but that he is flattered nonetheless.

Lantz says he has never had to deal with this type of situation and does not really know how to handle it.
However, he also says despite the effort put into the work, it is considered graffiti and business owners have a right to remove any type of graffiti.
