Last year’s final monthly report on the value of construction in Fort St. John, showed the city finished 2010 having issued 284 permits, worth nearly $46 and half million.
That’s more than $17 and half million ahead of the 2009 total from 264 permits…but it is also more than $40 million less than the 2008 total, which included a $23 million Enerplex permit in March of that year.
City revenue from the 2010 permits exceeded $231 thousand.
That was more than double the 2009 total, which was less than $104 thousand, and also $47 thousand ahead of the 2008 total.
