Fifteen people are facing 40 charges after the Fort St. John RCMP Drug Section completed an undercover drug bust.
Police say the four-month long operation targeted street level drug trafficking in the city and involved undercover officers.
They say the 40 charges are being recommended against 13 men and two women. The charges are mostly related to the trafficking of cocaine, but also include breaches of court orders and weapon offenses.
The accused are all between the ages of 19 and 53. Police are not releasing their names until they make their first court appearances.
RCMP officials are reminding the public that if anyone wants to report drug activity in the Fort St. John area, they can contact the Fort St. John RCMP detachment at 250-787-8140 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
