Based on the numbers from a three week trial monitor, the city has decided to revise the weekend hours of operation of the third floor Northern Vac track at the Pomeroy Sport Centre.
The monitor showed high enough usage numbers to warrant keeping the track open from 6am to 9pm Monday through Friday.
However, early morning numbers on the weekend were very low, and as a result the Saturday and Sunday operating hours, beginning this coming weekend…December 18th and 19th…will be changed to 9am to 9pm.
The city is encouraging more public feedback on track operation, and will post any changes on the city website at www.fortstjohn.ca.
