One person is facing multiple charges after thousands of marijuana plants were seized from a home south of Prince George.
Officers with the RCMP’s Cariboo Region Integrated Marijuana Enforcement Task Force, North District Drug Section and Prince George detachment executed a search warrant at a home on Horrocks Road, Thursday.
Police say they seized 2298 marijuana plants, around $4,000 in cash and various pieces of equipment used for the operation.
They say they found three separate rooms for growing marijuana, as well as a stolen electrical transformer used for stealing power from BC Hydro.
One man is facing charges of production of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, possession of property obtained by crime and theft of telecommunication service.
