The value of construction in Fort St. John continues to run well ahead of last year, but is still only about 50 percent of what is was in 2008.
Through November, 270 permits had been issued resulting in construction value of nearly $44 million.
That compares favorably with last year, when the total value of 251 permits was slightly less than $27 million.
However, it also pales in comparson to the 11 month, 2008 total value, of nearly $86 million dollars from 277 permits.
11 permits were issued last month, with a value of slightly more than 2 million dollars, and that pushed city revenue up nearly 11 thousand dollars, to a year-to-date total, of just under 219 thousand.
