A fatal house fire in Prince George is now being treated by police as a homicide investigation.

56 year old Linda Joyce Fredin, who required the use of a wheel chair, was pulled from the burning home by fire crews on November 24th.

However, she later died of her injuries in Vancouver General Hospital, and an autopsy was scheduled for this week.

After identifying an individual they believe has a connection to both this incident and a suspicious Tattoo shop fire in Prince George, police are now suggesting both were gang related.
