In the Alberta Peace, the Grande Prairie RCMP has released very little information about an incident, which it confirms resulted in a Friday night fatality.
Police say it occurred in the County Industrial Park just before seven o’clock, where a 40 year old Grande Prairie man was struck by a tractor trailer unit.
They also confirm he died of his injuries, after being rushed to Queen Elizabeth 11 hospital.
At last report police were treating his death as accidental, but their investigation was ongoing.
