The arraignment hearings for Andre Dupas and Pamela Joy Moore have been further postponed.
The two are facing charges in relation to the stabbing death of Josh Lequiere back on May 20.
Dupas is charged with second degree murder in Lequiere’s death.
Both accused have hired new lawyers and Dupas’ lawyer asked for the adjournment so he could better prepare for the case and go through the large electronic files.
Dupas and Moore are next set to appear by video link in the Fort St. John courthouse on Dec. 7.
Jim Lequiere, Josh’s father, says the court system is moving slowly in his son’s case but his family is now getting used to the delays.
The family also just held the first annual Josh Lequiere Memorial Carver Classic Squash and Raquetball Tournament. The tournament was named in their son’s memory and Josh’s son, Carver.
Approximately $7,500 was raised from the silent auction held at the Tournament. The Lequiere family says the rest of the money from the tickets and other donations from the community have yet to be calculated.
The money was raised to provide sports equipment for children in the Fort St. John area who might not otherwise be able to afford to pay for it.
