Update #3 – The RCMP have released a few more details about the incident Thursday night.  Click here to read the story.

Update #2 – According to our reporter on the scene, the young boy has been located but the RCMP have not provided us with an official statement confirming he has been found.  According to an eye witness, several kids were playing in and around the revine when one became seperated from the group.  One kid then left and went for help.  Again this is all unconfirmed information until the RCMP have released an official statement about the incident.

Update – North Peace Search and Rescue have arrived on scene to help in the search.  The RCMP have told Moose FM/Energeticcity.ca that they won’t be releasing any information about the incident until after it has come to a conclusion.  They have also asked us not to relay any information as they have not confirmed who is missing, nor have they talked to the parents, if it is a kid missing.

The Fort St. John RCMP, Fire Department and Search and Rescue are on the scene searching for a person who may be lost in a ravine near the Alaska Highway.

Crews are currently work to find the missing person in the area near LAND Transport and the Alaska Highway.

We have very few details at this time and hope to learn more shortly.
