Arthur Hadland has joined the board of directors for the B.C. First party.
According to Chris Delaney, spokesperson for the B.C. First party, “Arthur has a tremendous grasp of the issues facing the north as well as BC in general. He understands that our system of representative democracy is broken, and needs major change. He ran as an independent because he knows that the establishment parties are the cause of the problem, not the solution. We are thrilled to have his support for BC First.”
Hadland is currently the Area C Director for the Peace River Regional District and ran as an independent candidate in the last provincial election. Hadland received over 32% of the vote in the 2009 election.
Hadland says people are finished with the Liberals but don’t want the NDP. “We need a party of the centre where people of all backgrounds can come together to take their province back and rebuild our democracy and our prosperity.”
He will represent B.C. First as director at large for the Northeast region of B.C.
