Police bust grow operation in Dawson Creek

 

Police have busted a grow operation containing approximately 50 marijauna plants in Dawson Creek.

During the early evening on Monday, Dawson Creek RCMP executed a search warrant at a residential address within the City limits. The plants were found growing in the basement of a two storey home located on 96a Avenue in Dawson Creek. Along with the plants, police also seized harvested marijuana.

A 31 year-old Dawson Creek man was arrested by police at the scene. The accused male faces charges of Production of Marijuana and Possession of Marijuana. The accused was released from custody and will make his first appearance in court on Jan. 2.
