On Saturday night the Petroleum Association Midget Flyers travelled to Spirit River to open their All Peace regular season with a convincing 7-2 win.

The Flyers were in control from the opening face off and used a good all around team effort to gain a solid road victory. Cayle Bell led the scoring with two goals and an assist. Other goals were scored by Michael Bacso, Blair Karasiuk, Brett Howard, Tanner Moulton, and Derek Donis. Setting up the scoring were Tyrel Lepine, Beauden Lancaster, Brent Loewen, and Dallas Trim with assists .

Ty Helgason got the win between the pipes with a solid goaltending effort.

Including exhibition games, the Midget Flyer’s season record is now five wins and one loss. Next up for the Flyers is a tournament in Quesnel kicking off on Nov.5.
