The first event on the Pomeroy Inn & Suites Peace Curling Tour was held this past weekend – the Investor’s Group Cash Spiel at the Grande Prairie Curling Club.

Winners were as follows:

Sun Life Competitive Division

Team Links Golf Course – Fort St. John Curling Club
Skip Mark Heartt
Third Len Holland
Second Bruce Fredrickson
Lead Aaron Stock

Team Links Golf Course stole the winning point in the final end against Grande Prairie’s Geoff Walker to win 9-8.

PCA Challenge Division

Team Godberson – Fort St. John Curling Club
Skip Glen Godberson
Third Ian Titley
Second Jim Schilling
Lead Len Bauer

Team Godberson made a last shot hit and roll for the win in an extra end to defeat Grande Prairie’s Delia DeJong 8-7.
