Local resident shares her talents with local charities

A long time local resident, Jeanne Clelland, has been sharing her talents with local charities.

Every year Jeanne repeatedly donates to both the local Salvation Army and the Fort St. John Hospital Foundation’s "Be an Angel" Campaign. This year Jeanne has has been very generous. She has donated a beautiful hand-crafted, framed, cross stiched print to be auctioned off at the Hospital Foundation Gala. This year Jeanne also handmade 100 pairs of mittens that she has donated to the Salavation Army for their Christmas hampers.

The Gala is being held on Nov. 1. at the Pomeroy Hotel. There are cocktails and a slient auction which begins at 5 p.m. Dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m. The official commencement of the "Be An Angel" Campaign will start at 7 p.m and the live auction will begin at 7:30 p.m.. The theme for this year’s Gala is "Angels in Action." The tickets are $60 per person and tables of eight cost $480.
