The Enerplex will now be know as the Pomeroy Sport Centre.

That announcement was made following the official ribbon cutting Wednesday evening. The Pomeroy Group has joined 9 other companies to sponsor the facility. In total the City has raised over $2.8 million dollars, that will be paid over the next 15 years through sponsorship that will be used for athletic programs in the facility.

Mayor Lantz expects sponsorship money will continue to grow now that the facility is fully open.
