A serious fire in Tumbler Ridge early Sunday morning caused significant damge to local home.
The RCMP and local fire department was called to the scene at 3:51 a.m. on Sunday morning to help attend to the fire. Local police say the western portion of the home was destroyed and the residents of the house will be unable to live on the premises at this time.
The cause of the fire is undetermined, but the fire department is still investigating. The fire does not look to be suspicious and arson has been ruled out, although the cause may be accidental.
