100th Ave. road work to be done today

Current state of road work on 100th Ave.-Matthew Lago

Road work on 100th Ave. is set to be completed Tuesday and is now open to two lanes of traffic.

The project is running at a delay and was supposed to be completed by the end of September. The paving of the road is finished and most of the work to be completed Tuesday is aesthetic. The road markings are to be painted, the landscaping completed and the landmarkers are to be removed by the end of Tuesday.

The city is still waiting on materials to add streetlights to the north side of the street as well as traffic signals at 90th St. Those projects are not expected to cause significant disruptions. That work should be completed sometime this year.
