RCMP may be a little closer to determining who was behind a number of Encana pipeline bombings.
Police say DNA was found on a letter that was sent to a Dawson Creek newspaper in April.
The letter was from the person who is alleged to be the bomber, but police are not saying whether they know to whom the DNA belongs.
However, police have determined the threatening letters that were sent to local media outlets were connected to the bombings. The letters had demanded that the Encana Corporation leave the region.
Since the fall of 2008, there were six bombings at various Encana pipelines and well sites.
