Two separate power outages are affecting more than 800 B.C. Hydro customers in Fort St. John and Hudson’s Hope.
An outage north of Campbell Way around the Hudson’s Hope and Chetwynd area affects approximately 730 customers.
B.C. Hydro reports the outage is due to trees that have fallen across its power lines.
Power is expected to be up by 4:30 p.m.
Another outage in Fort St. John is currently affecting 83 customers in the area west of 287 Rd. and south of 151 Rd. This outage is still under investigation and the company has not reported when power is expected to be back on.
