Tumbler Ridge hosts film festival

The Banff Mountain Film Festival will be coming to Tumbler Ridge on Oct 12.

The event, scheduled for 7pm, hosts some of the finest outdoor and mountain adventure films, and is part of a tour that visits over 25 countries. The show is produced by Mountain Culture at the Banff Centre and features audience favourites from approximately 300 films entered in the Banff festival.

Eleven films will be screened at the event ranging from 4 to 28 minutes in length for a total time of 2 hours. The festival is scheduled to be held at the Tumbler Ridge Secondary School with tickets available at the door. The cost will be $10 for adults and $5 for students.
