Valleyview RCMP are still trying to identify the occupants of a second vehicle involved in an accident 30 km west of the city, Sunday.
Police say they are working with the Medical Examiner’s office to determine the identity of the occupants of the vehicle that was heading westbound on Highway 43.
They say a Traffic Collision analyst determined that the vehicle crossed over the centre line and crashed into the 5 ton cube van styled truck.
A detour was set up around the scene for alternating east and westbound traffic
Since the crash was so severe police say they still cannot confirm the type of vehicle or even how many people were in the vehicle that crashed into the cube van.
