The Fort St. John Community Arts Council will be among those making a presentation today, to the Select Standing Committee on Finance and Government Services.
Local area groups and residents are getting the chance to provide input, into the 2011/2012 provincial budget, in a consultation session at the Pomeroy Hotel and Conference Centre, from 2 to 5 p.m.

They’re being encouraged to put forward ideas, about spending priorities, tax relief, deficit management, and other fiscal issues.
The local Arts Council will focus on provincial cuts to arts and culture organizations across the province, and ask the Committee to recommend that funding levels to the arts be restored, to 2008 levels.
