Dreher will play for LPGA card

Fort St. John’s Kirby Dreher has qualified for the final stage of the LPGA Tour’s qualifying school.

Dreher shot a final round Friday of 74 and finished at seven-over par, tied for 25th. Dreher will now compete in the final tournament in order to qualify to play in the LPGA next year.

The tournament will be held this December in Daytona Beach Florida. If she can finish in the top 40, Dreher will qualify for some LPGA tournaments in 2011. Langley’s Sue Kim will also join Dreher as the only two from British Columbia to play in the final tournament.
