Members of the Fort St. John Rotary Club held their weekly meeting at the Child Development Centre Thursday. Â The group came together to celebrate a $100,000 donation made by the club to the CDC for the Rotary Play Centre.
Thursday also marked the opening of the Rotary Play Centre, which is designed after two Strongstart Centre’s that are already operating in School District 60 facilities. A facilitator will be on hand to encourage appropriate activities and the centre will be open to everyone in the community.
The Centre is open to the public for children between 0 and 5 years of age. Â For more on the Centre, contact the CDC at 250-785-3200. Â You can also click here and read more about the Centre.
