UPDATE – The RCMP have confirmed to Energeticcity.ca that an 87 year-old female is dead after a hit and run.  For more on this story, click here.

 

An elderly woman has sustained undetermined injuries after being hit by a vehicle in a parking lot, Wednesday.

The woman was hit around the noon hour in a parking lot off of 93A St. near Sobeys in Fort St. John.

Firefighters and RCMP were on scene attending to the woman.

Energeticcity.ca has contacted the RCMP about the incident but has not yet heard back.
