The arraignment hearings for Pamela Joy Moore and Andre Paul Dupas have been adjourned until Nov. 17.
Both appeared by video link in the Fort St. John courtroom.
Dupas is charged with second degree murder in the stabbing death of Josh Lequiere on May 20 and Moore is charged with being an accessory after the fact.
Moore has gotten a new defence lawyer from Vancouver and it appears that Dupas has also chosen to obtain a new defence lawyer.
Both the accused were told that their new lawyers must decide whether they want a preliminary inquiry to be held by Nov. 17.
A preliminary inquiry is used to determine whether the Crown has enough evidence to potentially convict an accused. It also gives the defence an opportunity to learn what evidence the Crown has against an accused.
