Jay Morrison won the Thursday night mountain bike time trial on the Cactus Trails with a time of 18:04 minutes. Pat Ferris was second at 18:48 and Roger St. Jean third at 20:35. Francis Plum (GP) was 4th at 21:25 and Adam Currie 5th at 24:30. Sam Keats had 26:41 for 6th.
Sunday is the final Challenge Cup and final road race for the 2010 season. GP leads the series by just 1 point so the Blizzards need a good turnout to repeat as Challenge Cup winners. The race-day winner wins the ‘Race of The Fallen Leaves’ trophy as well.
Race time is 11 a.m. from the old Montney Store on the Beatton Park road.
