A Freedom of Information request by the The Globe and Mail is reporting that BC Hydro spent more than $360,000 to put on the splashy event at the WAC Bennett Dam this past April to announce the Site C project was moving forward to the third of the five stage consultation process.
The event, held at the WAC Bennett Dam featured Premier Campbell and a large entourage of staff, politicians and media.
The Globe reports the costs including flights, courier services, hotels and $9,000 for a private jet to fly the Premier from Vancouver to the event.
