Arraignment date set in Slow Pitch case

 

The arraignment hearing for Nicole Kelly, the former treasurer of the Fort St. John Mixed Slow Pitch Society, has been set for Sept. 15.

The Crown says there is broad file in regards to her case and if it proceeds to trial, the proceedings could take several days.

It was added that there were approximately nine witnesses and potentially a police officer that could testify in the case.
Kelly is facing one count of fraud over $5,000 for allegedly removing more than $100,000 from the Society’s accounts over a four-year period.
She is also facing another count of fraud over $5,000 for allegedly stealing money from a previous employer.
