Motorists with travel plans in the Alberta Peace, for the next month and half, should be prepared for lane and speed limit reductions beginning today on Highway 2, north of Grande Prairie.

A project scheduled for completion by October 15th, includes paving eight kilometres of the northbound lanes, from north of Highway 59 to north of Highway 672…and one kilometre of the southbound lanes, north of Highway 59.

Traffic will be reduced to a single lane, and the speed limit will be reduced to 50 kilometers per hour through the construction zone.
