Meatloaf has regretfully cancelled his EnCana Events Centre appearance along with several other planned concerts in the region. The singer had health problems a few weeks ago that affected his vocal chords, and had initially hoped to quickly recover and reschedule this concert. For a variety of reasons, rescheduling has not been possible, and the concert is now officially cancelled.

Anyone who has purchased tickets to the performance will be able to receive a refund. Credit card transactions will be automatically returned to the purchasing credit card; this reversal should take place within the next several business days. For all internet and phone purchases please contact 1-877-339-TIXX (8499). If tickets were purchased at the Tiger Box Office Plus or the Dawson Co-op High Performance Ticket Outlet they can receive a refund for their ticket(s) at the Tiger Box Office.

Ryan MacIvor, General Manager of the EnCana Events Centre, says “We are disappointed that we will not have the opportunity to see this legendary performer, however, we hope that at some time in the future we may have the opportunity to rebook him”. He also adds “I encourage concert fans to check out the EnCana Events Centre webpage to see all of the exciting acts we are continually booking”.
