**UPDATE – As of 10:10pm, power has been restored to all the customers affected by the outage earlier tonight.  Hydro says the outage was caused by the Thunderstorm that continues to move through the region.


Another big storm has caused power outages in and around Fort St. John. Power is out in a large section of Fort St. John as of 9:33 PM.

BC Hydro’s website says the cause is under investigation but expects power to be back on by 11:30 PM tonight. More Information on BC Hydro’s Website.  Approximately 2,300 customers are currently without power.

A storm with heavy rain and lighting hit Fort St. John at about 9 PM. There are no reports of flooding.
