Fall Fair pulling into town

The annual North Peace Fall Fair will be in full swing – or pull – this weekend.

The event includes horse dressage, a cattle show, a stock dog show, a heavy horse pull and a tractor pull.

Members of the 4-H club will also bring pets they’ve raised to have them judged.

Entries are being taken from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday for anyone wishing to have their baking, handicrafts, or photos judged.

Peace River Regional District Chair Karen Goodings says there will be something for everyone to enjoy at the fair. She adds, however, that people should bring cash as there will not be an ATM onsite.

The fair will take place at the North Peace Fall Fair Grounds, 21 kilometers north of Fort St. John on the Rose Prairie Road.

Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for seniors and children 6 to 16 years old.
