The Grande Prairie RCMP is searching for a suspect that tried to rob a convenience store early Tuesday morning.
Police say the man went into the convenience store on 100 Street and 105 Avenue just after 3 a.m.
He asked the employee to open the till and give him the money. The clerk instead called police and the man ran to the back of the store.
The suspect is approximately 5’5’’, has tattoos on both his arms and short, blondish/grayish hair and a moustache. His index finger on his right hand is amputated.
He was wearing a black AC/DC t-shirt and black shorts at the time. The man also has stuttered speech.
