The victim in the drive-by shooting recently moved to Fort St. John and is known to police.

There’s confirmation that the local RCMP has identified three persons responsible for what it’s calling the assault case early Sunday morning at a drinking party site on the Beatton River off the 103 Road.
However, police also say the two men arrested at the site have been questioned and released without being charged.
Thus, the police investigation continues as does another one into the drive-by-shooting a week ago today outside Cheers Pub.

Police still believe this was a targeted attack that sent a 34 year old unidentfied man to hospital, with non-life threatening gunshot wounds.
It occurred shortly before midnight, and the only publicized description police received, regarding the suspect vehicle, is that it was a dark colored car.
