UPDATE #2: Power was restored at 6:40pm.
UPDATE: As of 5pm, power has been restored to over 1,000 of the original 1,200 who lost power this afternoon. The remaining 200 customers should have power restored by 6pm.
BC Hydro has reported a power outage in part of Fort St. John.
The area covered in the outage is around the airport and Southeast past Baldonnel. Hydro hopes to have power restored by 4:30pm. About 1,200 customers are affected by the outage that happened shortly after 2:30pm.
