A truck stolen from Fort St. John has been recovered in Prince George.
Opinion250.com is reporting that a truck Thursday afternoon pulled into Prince George Yamaha and made off with a brand new trailer and two jet skis.
A Staff Sergeant with the Prince George RCMP was out of the office when he noticed the stolen vehicle beside him at an intersection. The officer was in an unmarked vehicle and followed the truck out of a heavy traffic area.
Two marked RCMP vehicles then joined the chase and boxed in the stolen vehicle. The officers then performed a high-risk takedown.
A 47-year old Chetwynd man was arrested without incident and the jet skis, trailer and truck were all recovered. The truck was stolen from Fort St. John on July 13th of this year.Â
