The trial for a Fort St. John man who is accused of killing a man in Prince George is underway.
Jesse Norman Sweder has been on trial for the murder of 35 year-old Peter John Letendre in December of 2004.
His defecnce lawyer says he told an undercover police officer that he killed a man because he wanted to gain favour with someone he thought was a Hell’s Angel biker.
He says he may have been immature, but that he is not a murderer.
