The board of Northern Environmental Action Team has formally confirmed today, what has been generally been assumed for sometime, it is looking for a new Executive Director.

After more than two decades in the position Sally Emory is stepping down.

Board member Kathleen O’Neill also confirmed today that Sally has agreed to serve the team, as a volunteer adviser.

The search for Sally’s successor is now underway with a regional focus, extending as far east as Grande Prairie and as far south as Prince George.

It is hoped to have the new person in place by September first, and to that end the board has set an application deadline, of July 28th.
