Given the drop in the Peace River water level, the District of Taylor has moved again to implement summertime water use restrictions.
Â
The District is currently in Stage 3 Water Restrictions which means you can’t water your lawn, fill pools, hot tubs, ponds and wash vehicles or boats.
There will be an exception given on Thursday July 8th. The District will be giving residents the opportunity to water their grass and gardens only from 8pm to 10pm.
Residents can water plants as long as it is done with a watering can or a hose with a shut-off nozzle.
For those who choose to ignore the restrictions, there is water conservation bylaw provision for fines, which run as high as $300 for each offense.
