Tuesday highlights an important day for the some students of School District 60. Northern Health, ISL Health along with School District 60 sponsored a school art contest for the Fort St. John Hospital and Residential Care project to bring awareness to safety and the importance of the hospital to family.

 

There were four categories ranging from Kindergarten to Grade 12. The winners for each category include:

 

Grades K-3:

 

1st – Sidney Stewart, Gr.2 Bert Ambrose

2nd – Shelby Kirkpatrick, Gr.3 Bert Ambrose

3rd – Jenna Elliott, Gr.3 Bert Ambrose

 

Grades 4-6:

1st – Sydney DeMaid, Gr.6 Bert Ambrose

2nd – James Stotz, Gr.6 Buick Creek

3rd – Ashley White, Gr.6 Bert Ambrose

 

Grades 7-9:

1st – Emma Silver, Gr.7 Bert Ambrose

2nd – Kelsey MacLean, Gr. 7 Bert Ambrose

3rd – Brianne Laramore, Gr.7 Bert Ambrose

 

Grades 10-12:

1st – Lindsay Bell, Gr.10 Clearview

 

Congratulations to all the winners and thanks to all the students who participated. Plans are being developed to showcase the winning artwork in various places throughout the community as the construction project continues.
