Residents in the Pink Mountain subdivision are under an evacuation alert.
A forest fire in the area has caused the alert and is burning near the Cyprus Creek road and the Alaska Highway. Traffic on the highway is not affected at this time.
Once we get more information, we will post another update.
This map shows the location of the fire, which is only 2.5km away from Pink Mountain.
